QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Create test cases and test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Validate API responses, authentication, error handling, and documentation
- Conduct manual, exploratory, cross-browser, and responsive testing of user workflows
- Develop and maintain basic API and UI automated tests
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and evidence
- Verify fixes, conduct regression testing, and escalate quality risks
- Track test coverage and report outstanding defects to support release decisions
Requirements
- QA internship, coursework, personal projects, or equivalent practical testing experience
- Understanding of test cases, regression testing, exploratory testing, and defect management
- Basic scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, or Java
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs, web request methods, JSON, and tools such as Postman
- Clear documentation, communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Git, CI/CD, OpenAPI (Swagger), or SQL is an advantage
