Accounting Manager

A reputable corporate brand located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, is seeking a competent and experienced Accounting Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate must be professional, detail-oriented, well-groomed, and capable of operating effectively in a corporate environment while maintaining high standards of financial management and reporting

Job Details

• Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos (Hybrid)
• Salary: NGN 350,000 - 400,000 monthly
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• General bookkeeping and financial accounting
• Preparing financial statements and management reports
• Budget preparation, financial forecasting, and planning
• Coordinating audit activities and ensuring proper financial documentation
• Managing tax-related matters, including interactions with LIRS and FIRS
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting effective financial decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum of a BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Additional professional certifications will be an advantage
• At least 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Experience in a financial institution, microfinance bank, or corporate organisation will be an added advantage
• Strong communication, analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills
