A financial services group in Lagos is hiring a Head, Marketing and Business Development to lead marketing, brand, customer acquisition and strategic partnerships, with the goal of doubling the Group's revenue within 3 years

Job Details

Location: Lagos (fully physical, with frequent travel to Abuja and other states)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Direct exposure to the Board and Executive Committee

Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing and brand strategy
Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
Lead digital acquisition across paid media, SEO/SEM and social commerce
Build strategic partnerships with corporates, institutions and regulators
Close high-value corporate and institutional relationships
Support product launches and market expansion
Lead customer experience and retention initiatives
Manage a team of 20-25 across Marketing, Business Development and Communications

Requirements

7-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, business development, corporate communications, sales or financial services, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; an MBA or Master's degree is strongly preferred
Certifications such as CIM, NIMN or CIPM are an added advantage
Track record of driving business growth and market expansion in financial services is an advantage
Deep knowledge of CBN, SEC and NDPC regulations
Proven experience with digital marketing, marketing automation and CRM platforms
A commercial leader who thrives on impact, autonomy and measurable results
