People & Culture Manager

Sudabelt is recruiting a full-time People & Culture Manager to lead its human resources department in Lagos. This senior leadership position focuses on aligning human capital strategies with overarching business growth. The role demands an experienced strategist who can direct end-to-end talent acquisition, champion high-performance culture initiatives, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and maintain strict structural compliance with Nigerian labor laws.

• Strategic HR & Planning: Design and execute long-term people strategies and workforce planning frameworks that directly support business objectives and organizational scaling.

• Talent & Lifecycle Management: Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition, employee retention frameworks, performance management cycles, and structured learning and development programs.

• Culture & Engagement: Drive employee engagement initiatives, design culture-building strategies, and foster an inclusive workplace environment to boost morale and productivity.

• Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage complex employee relations, provide policy guidance to team leads, and ensure total organizational compliance with statutory labor regulations.

• Tenure: Minimum of 10 years of progressive, professional experience in Human Resources or People & Culture leadership roles.

• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of organizational development, HR best practices, conflict resolution, and employee relations.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional leadership capabilities, advanced stakeholder management, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study.

• Professional Credentials: Must hold an active professional HR certification such as PHRi, CIPM/ACIPM, or a verified global equivalent.
