Nigerian Eagle Flour Mills, a prominent subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc (FMN) managing the iconic Golden Penny Foods portfolio, is recruiting a full-time Account Assistant. Based at the Tincan port facility in Lagos, this operational accounting role is central to driving seamless financial and clerical workflows across the corporate depot infrastructure.
The Account Assistant will oversee financial payment processing streams, verify supplier invoices, administer localized petty cash reserves, and track procurement files. Additionally, the role bridges core accounting with field operations by tracking operational payroll inputs, coordinating warehouse stock counts, and keeping meticulous data logs.
Key Responsibilities-
Vendor Payment Coordination: Review, process, and verify payment documentation for external vendors, product suppliers, heavy-duty transporters, and casual laborers in strict compliance with internal schedules.

Three-Way Document Matching: Execute rigorous three-way matching operations linking commercial Purchase Orders, transit waybills, and final supplier invoices to safeguard company capital.

Petty Cash Governance: Administer daily depot petty cash transactions, maintain accurate transaction ledgers, and secure timely budget reimbursements according to corporate guidelines.

Procurement Operations: Generate automated Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Store Requisition Vouchers (SRVs) while systematically tracking vendor delivery timelines.

Payroll Input Processing: Compile and structure essential depot payroll data feeds, including employee attendance sheets, overtime trackers, and baseline headcount audits.

Inventory Verification: Participate directly in monthly physical stock-taking counts to cross-check warehouse balances against accounting records.

Financial Record Archiving: Systematize, store, and maintain secure, highly organized digital and physical record archives for all processed invoices and tax files.

Education: Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any closely related Social Science discipline.

Experience Baseline: Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable cognate experience handling baseline corporate accounting, finance functions, or industrial depot administration.

Software Stack: Functional proficiency navigating Microsoft Office tools, with an emphasis on data management in Microsoft Excel and professional document creation in MS Word.
