Business Development Manager

Erisco Foods Limited, a leading indigenous FMCG and food manufacturing company producing tomato paste, seasonings, rice, and dairy products, is recruiting a full-time Business Development Manager. Based at the head office in Ikeja, Lagos, this role focuses on driving strategic expansion, identifying new revenue streams, building long-term client/partner relationships, and analyzing market trends to support corporate growth.

• Growth Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement business development strategies to meet organizational revenue and expansion targets.

• Opportunity Sourcing & Partnerships: Identify, research, and secure new commercial opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels.

• Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and industry partners.

• Market Intelligence & Proposals: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to spot expansion areas; craft sales presentations, commercial proposals, and pitch decks.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting: Work alongside marketing, finance, and operations teams to align on targets, establish performance metrics, and deliver strategic progress reports to senior management.

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in business development, corporate sales, or growth-focused roles.

• Track Record: Demonstrable success in expanding client networks, hitting sales/revenue targets, and unlocking new business opportunities.

• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities to evaluate market dynamics and competitive threats.

• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal relationship-building skills.

• Solid project management, problem-solving, and tech-savviness for data tracking and reporting.
