Head of Business – Partnerships, Event Catering & Corporate

The role of Head of Business – Partnerships, Event Catering & Corporate (PEC) is currently open for recruitment. Based in Lagos and reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, this executive role focuses on owning, building, and scaling the B2B commercial vertical across corporate accounts, strategic alliances, and event catering operations.

• Revenue Strategy & Business Growth: Develop commercial growth plans, own pipeline conversion, and penetrate enterprise markets (corporates, institutions, and major events) to meet profitability targets.

• Strategic Partnerships & Channel Expansion: Secure strategic alliances with event organizers, aggregators, and corporate bodies; negotiate retainer contracts, bulk deals, and exclusive partnerships.

• Key Account Leadership: Direct long-term growth across high-value enterprise accounts, structuring pricing frameworks and negotiating large contracts.

• Commercial Structuring & Deal Governance: Oversee proposal generation, contract risk mitigation, and margin optimization to ensure financial sustainability.

• Performance Management & Team Leadership: Lead, evaluate, and scale the PEC commercial team, utilizing data dashboards and KPIs to track pipeline health and lifetime client value.

• Broad background in business development, corporate sales, or partnership leadership.

• Proven track record of building and scaling B2B revenue lines and closing high-value deals.

• Industry Advantage: Prior experience in food, hospitality, retail, or service-driven sectors is highly advantageous.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• An MBA or specialized master's degree in a sales/commercial discipline is a plus.

• Commercially astute with an understanding of deal pricing, profit margins, and growth levers.

• Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

• Capability to operate seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
