About this role
Excel and Grace Consulting, a certified management consulting firm (CMC-Global) with over 18 years of experience advising SMEs globally, is recruiting a full-time Business Development Consultant. Based in Ikeja, Lagos, this senior role involves driving firm revenue, cultivating high-value client partnerships, negotiating consulting contracts, and overseeing end-to-end consulting project deliveries.
Key Responsibilities-
Client Engagement & Advisory: Identify and engage corporate clients, conduct high-level executive pitch meetings, and build long-term partnerships as a trusted advisor.

Business Development & Closing: Uncover market opportunities, lead proposal drafting, handle complex negotiations, and close high-value management consulting deals.

Consulting Project Oversight: Manage end-to-end consulting engagements, monitor project milestones, provide strategic guidance, and ensure client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and economic shifts to propose new consulting offerings and strategic service lines.

Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, prepare deal pipelines, track project delivery metrics, and report directly to senior leadership.

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

Postgraduate: A Master’s degree or MBA is considered a distinct advantage.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, management consulting, or corporate strategy.

Track Record: Proven history of hitting growth targets, securing new corporate accounts, and closing high-value consulting contracts.

Polished executive presence with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Expertise in strategic planning, deal closing, project management, and competitive analysis.

High level of professionalism, accountability, and multi-project management capacity.

Flexibility for regional travel and a hybrid working arrangement in Lagos.
