About this role
The Place (Smackers Limited)—a major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operator expanding across Nigeria—is recruiting a full-time Account Assistant for its operations in Yaba, Lagos. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, this role assists with day-to-day accounting operations, financial data entry, and invoice reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities

Transaction & Expense Processing: Enter financial transactions into internal databases and process expense reports and reimbursements.

Reconciliation & Bookkeeping: Reconcile vendor invoices and maintain structured bookkeeping records to ensure financial transparency.
Requirements
Primary Requirements

Education: Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.

Core Skills: Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), and good numerical accuracy.
