Human Resources Manager
About this role
Visco Group of Companies Limited—a diversified group operating across culinary, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and real estate—is recruiting a full-time Human Resources Manager. Based in Benin City, Edo State, this position oversees all HR operations across the group, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, labor law compliance, and payroll coordination.
Key Responsibilities-
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment across all group business units, develop retention strategies, and oversee new staff orientation.

HR Administration & Policy Enforcment: Maintain employee databases, update company handbooks, enforce SOPs, and ensure adherence to Nigerian labor laws and statutory regulations.

Performance Management: Manage annual/periodic performance appraisal systems, collaborate with department heads on KPI tracking, and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Handle internal grievances, conduct workplace investigations, manage disciplinary processes, and foster employee engagement.

Payroll & Training: Partner with the Accounts department to ensure accurate monthly payroll administration; identify training gaps and organize learning initiatives.

Reporting & Strategic Planning: Advise senior management on workforce planning, submit HR analytics reports, and support organizational development.

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

Professional HR Qualifications: CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) or similar certifications are an added advantage.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management or a senior human resources role.

Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.

Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and standard HR software / HRIS platforms.

Core Competencies: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
