Senior Accountant

Abuja Clinics Limited, a premier healthcare provider operating across the Federal Capital Territory, is recruiting a Senior Accountant. Based in Maitama, Abuja, this role will coordinate healthcare accounting functions, oversee balance sheet reconciliations, support budget preparations, manage tax compliance, and lead audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations & General Ledger: Coordinate daily accounting activities, maintain general ledger accounts, and perform regular balance sheet reconciliations.

• Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Prepare revenue projections, analyze expenditure trends, and generate comprehensive financial reports to guide executive management.

• Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in formulating, monitoring, and evaluating departmental and hospital-wide operational budgets.

• Tax Compliance & Audit Management: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prepare audit schedules, coordinate annual audits, and resolve discrepancies or non-compliance findings.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance.

• Professional Credentials: Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN certified) with a minimum of 3 years post-certification experience.

• Experience: 6 to 9 years of overall post-qualification experience in accounting roles, preferably within a fast-paced or multi-branch corporate/healthcare setup.

• Software & Administrative Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and corporate accounting tools.
