About this role
Alfred & Victoria Associates (AVA), a management consulting and human capital development firm, is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of a healthcare institution. Based in Gwarinpa, Abuja, this executive role oversees financial strategy, healthcare revenue cycle management, multi-location expansion, capital raising ($20M+), tax/regulatory compliance, and working capital optimization.

Employment Type: Full-time (Work Schedule: Monday–Saturday half-day; Public Holidays observed as half-days)

Salary: Competitive (Commensurate with experience)

Financial Strategy & Capital Raising: Formulate long-term financial strategies; lead corporate financing initiatives, capital expansion, and investment management (including experience deploying capital over $20M).

Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; direct cash flow, working capital, and multi-location budget allocations.

Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management: Direct billing, HMO/insurance collections, claims processing, and revenue leakage reduction for hospital facilities.

Audit, Risk & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce internal controls, manage statutory tax/financial compliance, oversee external/internal audits, and implement risk frameworks.

Leadership & Executive Advisory: Provide actionable financial intelligence to the CEO and Board of Directors; direct and mentor the finance team across group operational units.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. (An MBA or Master’s in Finance is an added advantage).

Professional Certification: Mandatory accounting credential (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CFA, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a hospital, healthcare network, or multi-location group environment.

Key Track Record:

Demonstrated past experience securing corporate funding of not less than $20 Million and appropriately deploying those funds as CFO.

Experience managing multi-location corporate expansions and corporate investment portfolios.

Competencies: Deep knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, financial modelling, board-level presentation, negotiation, and high ethical integrity.
