About this role
Netzence Sustainability Limited, a sustainability technology and management firm focused on carbon emissions reduction, climate action, and UN SDGs, is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack). This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance FinTech platforms that support Netzence's digital sustainability and financial products.
Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain distributed web and mobile software applications, contributing to architectural decisions and system reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, UI/UX, DevOps, Compliance, and Business Analysis teams to convert product requirements into secure, high-performance features.

System Support & Bug Resolution: Direct technical operations for high-severity issues, troubleshoot software bottlenecks, and monitor Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) metrics.

DevOps & Best Practices: Write technical documentation, participate in continuous delivery pipelines, enforce secure coding standards, and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior software engineers across project teams.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience: 4 to 7 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Mandatory experience in FinTech or building scalable applications in high-growth tech environments.

Modern Stack & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Java (Spring, Java EE), Kotlin, Python (Django, Flask), or JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), alongside HTML/CSS and Web3 technologies.

Database & Cloud: Sound knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL systems, cloud infrastructure, and secure coding practices.

Version Control & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Core Competencies

Proven experience building and deploying customer-facing software solutions currently in active use.

Ability to mentor engineers, drive Agile workflows, and balance technical architecture with business performance outcomes.
