Account Trainee

Brainshare Technologies & Services Nigeria Limited—a telecommunications and fiber optic infrastructure services provider—is recruiting an Account Trainee. Based in Lekki, Lagos, this entry-level role is designed for recent graduates or early-career accounting professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, tax compliance, and general ledger management.

• Financial Documentation & Entry: Process payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts; maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems; perform accounting data entry in MS Excel.

• Reconciliations & Reporting: Support the finance team with accounts payable/receivable tasks, bank reconciliations, and periodic financial report preparation.

• Compliance & Statutory Remittances: Assist with payroll processing, statutory deductions/remittances, and audit preparation.

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Preferred Qualification: Active enrollment or progression in ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) professional examinations is a distinct advantage.

• Experience: 0 to 1 year post-graduation work experience (entry-level/fresh graduates welcome).

• Location Preference: Candidates must reside within or around accessible routes to Lekki/Lagos Island, such as: Lekki, Ajah, Yaba, Surulere, Gbagada, Ogudu, Ketu, Bariga, or Iyana Oworo.

• Practical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• High numerical accuracy, analytical ability, attention to detail, and integrity.
