Project Accountant

erpSOFTapp Limited—an Odoo Enterprise ERP implementation partner—is recruiting a full-time Project Accountant. Based in Yaba, Lagos, this role focuses on implementing accounting systems for clients, migrating financial ledgers, auditing financial statements, and configuring chart of accounts within Odoo ERP deployments.

• ERP Accounting Implementation: Lead the setup and deployment of client accounting modules, migrating trading activities and general ledger structures onto the Odoo platform.

• Financial Statement Auditing: Audit and verify Trial Balances, Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, General Ledgers, and Aged Debtors/Creditors reports to establish accurate true trading positions.

• Ledger Reconciliation: Review, reconcile, and structure ledgers across assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, and equity for client onboarding.

• Accounting Advisory & Leadership: Guide client accounting teams on financial workflow best practices, IFRS compliance, and chart of accounts mapping.

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional Qualification: ACCA or ACA qualification is considered a distinct added advantage.

• Years of Experience: 2 to 3 years of practical experience playing a key role in daily accounting operations and financial record-keeping.

• Accounting Standards: Solid foundation in basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and IFRS standards.

• Software & Tool Skills: Advanced experience using spreadsheets (MS Excel) for complex reconciliations and data formatting.

• Core Skills: Strong multi-tasking capability, attention to detail under tight project timelines, and team leadership abilities.
