About this role
Dangote Cement Transport (DCT), a major subsidiary of Dangote Industries Limited, is recruiting an experienced Administrative Manager to oversee general operations, facility management, and staff welfare at its plant site in Ibese, Ogun State. This full-time managerial position is responsible for driving administrative efficiency, vendor governance, employee welfare/insurance management, office facility maintenance, staff logistics, and budget execution in line with Dangote Group's operational standards.

Facility & Utilities Operations: Direct day-to-day office administration, utilities management (power, water, internet), facility repairs, and site accommodations across DCT Ibese operations.

Vendor & Service Governance: Supervise external service providers, facility contractors, cleaning/security agencies, and third-party vendors; negotiate service contracts to drive cost containment.

Employee Welfare & Benefits Admin: Administer staff wellness initiatives, HMO enrollment/complaints, Group Life Insurance, NSITF, statutory welfare programs, staff uniforms, and company engagement events (long service awards, end-of-year events).

Staff Logistics & Fleet Support: Coordinate administrative drivers, transport logistics for official assignments, and movement of essential operational materials across DCT sites.

Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and execute the administrative unit's annual budget, enforce strict cost-control measures, maintain asset/inventory records, and report operational expenses to management.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.

Experience:
-
Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.

At least 3 years in a managerial administrative role within a manufacturing, heavy transport, or logistics setup.

Professional Certifications (Added Advantage): Professional HR/Management certifications such as CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources).

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Core Competencies: Strong leadership, negotiation skills, facility oversight, strategic budgeting, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
