Business Development Officer

Latins Security Company—a private security firm providing tailored security solutions for corporate, government, and individual clients—is recruiting a Business Development Officer (Marketer) at its office in Abuja (FCT). This full-time role focuses on market expansion, generating client leads, securing contracts for security personnel/solutions, delivering proposals, and driving revenue growth to meet defined targets.

• Lead Generation & Sales: Identify, source, and pursue new business opportunities within the security services market across private and government sectors.

• Client Engagement & Proposals: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, deliver tailored business presentations, and draft competitive service proposals and quotations.

• Target Achievement & Negotiation: Exceed monthly sales targets, negotiate security contracts, and close deals in alignment with company pricing frameworks.

• Market Intelligence & Reporting: Conduct market research on industry trends, track competitor activities, maintain sales pipelines, and report regularly to management.

• Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with security operations teams to ensure client service requirements and service level agreements (SLAs) are fully satisfied.

• Education: Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in business development, sales, or corporate client acquisition (mandatory).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for compiling reports and presentations.

• Core Competencies: Strong networking capabilities, client relationship management, contract negotiation, market research, and persuasive communication skills.
