About this role
KloverHarris Limited—a human resources and management consulting firm—is recruiting an Area Operations Manager on behalf of a hospitality client to oversee multiple outlets across Lagos State. This full-time leadership position is responsible for managing daily multi-unit hospitality operations (restaurants, lounges, or hotel outlets), ensuring service quality standards, conducting operational audits, controlling operational costs, and driving regional profitability.

Location: Lagos State (Requires travel between locations)

Multi-Unit Operations Management: Direct daily operations across assigned hospitality branches to ensure consistency in service delivery, guest experience, and operational procedures.

Financial Control & KPI Performance: Analyze branch financial statements, control operational expenses, monitor profit margins, and execute growth strategies to meet revenue targets.

Audit, Compliance & Safety: Conduct regular site visits and operational audits to ensure strict adherence to internal SOPs, statutory hospitality regulations, and HSE/food hygiene standards.

Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, coach, and mentor branch managers and outlet staff; collaborate with HR on workforce planning and performance evaluations.

Inventory & Vendor Control: Monitor branch procurement workflows, inventory levels, and stock tracking mechanisms to mitigate wastage and loss.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. (Professional certifications in Hospitality or Operations Management are an added advantage).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality operations management, with a track record of supervising multiple outlets/branches (restaurants, lounges, hotels, or chain outlets).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and hospitality management/Point of Sale (POS) software systems.

Core Competencies: Financial and business acumen, operational leadership, customer conflict resolution, multi-unit site management, and knowledge of Nigerian hospitality HSE standards.
