Sales Officer

PalmPay—an Africa-focused mobile payments and fintech platform—is recruiting full-time Sales Officers to drive its business loan products across multiple states in Nigeria. This entry-level, field-based role focuses on conducting daily outreach in open markets and small business hubs, educating local merchants on available financial/loan products, assisting with onboarding, and hitting daily/weekly disbursement targets.

• Locations: Kwara, Enugu, Warri (Delta), Benin (Edo), Ondo, Osun, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Imo, and Rivers States

• Employment Type: Full-time (Field-Based)

• Field Prospecting & Acquisition: Conduct daily outreach in markets, retail hubs, and business areas to identify prospective micro and small business borrowers.

• Product Education & Onboarding: Explain loan product terms, interest structures, and benefits clearly to customers; guide applicants step-by-step through the mobile application process.

• Target Execution: Meet and exceed assigned daily and weekly loan disbursement targets and active user metrics.

• Experience: No prior work experience required (full operational training will be provided by PalmPay).

• Location: Candidates must reside in one of the hiring locations: Kwara, Enugu, Warri (Delta), Benin (Edo), Ondo, Osun, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Imo, or Rivers States.

• Field Aptitude: Comfort and willingness to work outdoors daily in busy markets, shops, and commercial districts.

• Core Skills: Strong oral communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
