About this role
Westgate Technologies Ltd—a leading IT products and technology solution provider in Nigeria—is recruiting a Cashier for its team in Ikeja, Lagos State. This full-time finance support role is responsible for processing daily customer payments, maintaining accurate accounting and receipt records, handling payment inquiries, and supporting daily sales and inventory reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities-
Payment Processing & Receipting: Receive and process payments via bank transfers, POS, cash, and checks; issue official receipts and maintain accurate transaction logs.

Customer Account Management: Support customer account maintenance, assist with payment reconciliations, and handle billing and payment inquiries professionally.

Financial Compliance & Reporting: Ensure strict compliance with internal financial control policies and assist management with inventory, sales, and end-of-day reconciliations.

Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in a cashier, retail finance, or accounts support role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience using POS hardware or accounting software is an advantage.

Core Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, high integrity, basic accounting knowledge, and effective interpersonal communication.
