Assistant Warehouse Officer
About this role
Evans Industries Limited—an ISO 9001:2015 certified FMCG manufacturing company producing household and personal care products—is recruiting an Assistant Warehouse Officer for its facility in Ogba, Lagos State. Reporting to the Head of Department, this full-time role oversees finished goods dispatch, raw material handling, production material transfers, loading/unloading logistics budgets, periodic stocktaking, and comprehensive spare parts inventory management.
Key Responsibilities-
Finished Goods & Raw Material Management: Assist in issuing finished goods to customers; manage storage and issuance of raw materials and packaging supplies (soap noodles, perfumes, titanium extracts, outer cartons, paper boards, BOPP film, coding ink, and adhesives).

Production & Inventory Transfers: Print and log daily material transfers for production runs, reconcile daily output figures against production logs, and participate in quarterly and annual physical stock counts.

Spare Parts Storekeeping: Inspect, receive, record, and issue spare parts under proper authorization; organize store layouts for rapid identification, ensure stock security/condition, and compile weekly inventory reports for management.

Logistics & Expense Management: Budget, record, and disburse weekly loading and offloading labor expenses.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on warehouse, inventory, or storekeeping experience, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

Core Competencies: Inventory management software/ERP usage, raw material handling, stock reconciliations, spare parts control, and meticulous recordkeeping.
