Personnel Manager

Sunplast Industry Limited (part of the Sun Group) is a leading plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria with nearly 30 years of operational experience. Operating from its facility in Sango Ota, Ogun State, the company utilizes injection molding technologies to manufacture plastic products for various sectors.

About the Role Sunplast Industry Limited is recruiting a Personnel Manager to oversee workforce administration, employee relations, shift schedules, and daily HR operations across its manufacturing plant in Ota, Ogun State.

Key Responsibilities

• Workforce & Shift Administration: Oversee daily plant personnel activities, maintain employee records, track attendance/leave/overtime, and align shift schedules with production managers to ensure adequate manpower.

• Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage workplace grievances, enforce disciplinary procedures, maintain policy compliance, ensure alignment with Nigerian labor laws, and liaise with relevant government agencies.

• Talent Management & Operations: Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, deployment, performance support, and employee training initiatives across the facility.

• Reporting & Analytics: Prepare HR reports, manage payroll inputs, track workforce metrics, and support continuous HR process improvements.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 4–6 years of HR/personnel management experience, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, steel, or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, workforce shift management, disciplinary procedures, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications Membership in CIPM or another relevant professional HR body is an added advantage.
