Market Sales Representative

Daily Need Distributors Limited—a major FMCG distribution company operating for over 27 years across North-Central Nigeria—is recruiting Market Sales Representatives for its sales operations in Abuja and Nasarawa State. This full-time field sales position focuses on direct open-market selling, managing retail shop relationships, driving product penetration, and handling daily sales cash reconciliation with the branch finance team.

• Locations: Mabushi (Abuja FCT) and Lafia (Nasarawa State)

• Direct Market Sales: Participate in daily open-market sales generation, ensuring products are delivered to retail customers efficiently and promptly.

• Market Expansion: Collaborate with the Market Sales Supervisor, Field Sales Manager (FSM), and Sales Manager to execute strategies for market penetration and sales growth.

• Cash Reconciliation: Work directly with the Branch Accountant to accurately reconcile daily sales cash and ensure zero balance discrepancies.

• Customer & Territory Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with market traders, wholesalers, and retail shop owners within designated market territories.

• Education: Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND). Candidates must be able to read and write fluently.

• Experience: 0 to 3 years of sales experience within an FMCG environment.

• Location Restriction: Candidates must reside within the Mabushi/Utako axis (Abuja) or Lafia axis (Nasarawa).

• Core Competencies: Proven selling ability, high integrity, honesty, maturity, strong communication skills, and numerical accuracy for cash handling.
