About this role
Inspiration 92.3FM—a family-focused broadcast radio network centered on uplifting programming, music, and information—is recruiting a Head of Audit for its operational headquarters in Lagos State. This executive leadership role leads the station's internal audit function, oversees risk management frameworks, monitors financial governance, ensures regulatory compliance, and reports direct audit findings to executive management.
Key Responsibilities-
Audit Leadership & Framework Design: Design, implement, and continuously refine internal audit methodologies, risk assessment frameworks, and operational controls.

Financial & Compliance Review: Audit financial statements, payroll, procurement, budgeting processes, and broadcasting license/tax regulatory compliance.

Governance & Senior Reporting: Prepare detailed internal audit reports, identify operational inefficiencies, assess financial risks, and present actionable findings to the Board and executive leadership.

Team Supervision & Cross-Functional Coordination: Mentor and manage junior audit staff, coordinate with finance and accounting teams, and monitor post-audit recommendation implementation.

Professional Credentials: Mandatory professional accounting charter (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) and Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.

Experience Level: 8 to 10 years of deep experience in audit execution, financial analysis, and operational controls, with proven leadership exposure.

Technical & Soft Skills: Advanced forensic data analysis, strong risk management acumen, uncompromising ethical standards, and executive-level written/verbal presentation capabilities.
