Logistics Officer

Gas Tech International Limited—a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) energy solutions provider delivering gas via a virtual pipeline network—is recruiting 2 Logistics Officers for its operational bases in Lagos State and Abuja (FCT). Reporting to the Logistics Lead / Plant Manager, this operational role oversees virtual pipeline fleet dispatches, conducts pre-dispatch CNG truck/skid technical inspections, monitors real-time GPS tracking systems, and enforces HSE transport safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet & Skid Technical Inspections: Inspect trucks, trailers, and tube skids prior to dispatch and upon return; verify tire pressure, mechanical roadworthiness, vehicle documentation, and driver license validity.

• GPS Tracking & Real-Time Monitoring: Track virtual pipeline fleet movements using GPS platforms to ensure real-time delivery visibility, route compliance, and speed management.

• Gas Flow Alignment & Dispatch Scheduling: Monitor client gas consumption rates and coordinate tube skid dispatch schedules to ensure uninterrupted gas delivery.

• HSE & Compliance Enforcement: Enforce PPE usage, implement gas plant HSE procedures, manage fire safety protocols, and submit daily logistics logs and incident reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in GPS fleet tracking tools, ERP/logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and CNG safety standards.

• Core Competencies: Vehicle inspection protocols, CNG skid handling, HSE incident reporting, shift rotation management, and Hausa fluency (an added advantage).
