Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Solar Depot—a solar energy systems provider specializing in end-to-end sales, installations, and maintenance of high-end renewable energy solutions—is recruiting a Social Media Content Creator & Social Media Manager for its team in Lagos State.

This hands-on role takes ownership of the complete content pipeline—from filming solar site installations and writing technical-yet-engaging scripts to editing short-form videos and managing multi-platform brand accounts across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Video Production: Plan, script, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos, product showcases, behind-the-scenes clips, and live solar installation walkthroughs.

• Content Strategy & Scheduling: Formulate weekly and monthly content calendars, write engaging captions/hooks, and schedule posts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

• On-Camera & Field Direction: Appear on camera to present educational renewable energy topics and direct site engineers or clients during field content shoots.

• Analytics & Trend Hijacking: Monitor algorithm trends, leverage viral sound hooks, and analyze social metrics to optimize lead-generation content.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Portfolio Mandatory: Must present a portfolio, video reel, or links to previous brand social media accounts managed.

• Software & Editing Tools: Experience with video editing applications (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design platforms (Canva, Photoshop).

• Technical Equipment Literacy: Proficient in mobile videography/photography, lighting, framing, audio capture, and professional camera equipment.

• Core Competencies: Content ideation, short-form video storytelling, scriptwriting, brand positioning, and social performance analytics.
