Hotel Manager

Legacy Resort—situated within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) complex—is recruiting a Hotel Manager to lead resort operations, guest experiences, and commercial performance in Abeokuta, Ogun State. This executive hospitality position oversees all operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security), financial management, event execution, and revenue growth across the resort's hospitality and leisure facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership & Quality Control: Oversee daily resort operations across all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Facilities, Security) to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, guest satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

• Financial Management & Revenue Growth: Prepare annual budgets, monitor operational expenses, analyze financial reports, and execute strategies to maximize room occupancy, event bookings, and overall profitability.

• Corporate & Event Business Development: Build strategic relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners to secure conferences, weddings, and group resort bookings.

• Staff Leadership & Culture: Foster a guest-centric work culture, manage department heads, drive staff development, and align marketing efforts with resort growth goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master’s Degree/MBA is an added advantage).

• Work Experience: 7+ years of experience in hotel/resort operations, including at least 5 years leading operations at a managerial level.

• Geographic Requirement: Candidates must reside in or be ready to relocate to Abeokuta, Ogun State.

• Core Competencies: P&L management, guest service excellence, vendor/contractor oversight, event coordination, leadership, and proficiency in MS Office suite.
