Head of Stores

Dangote Group—Africa’s leading industrial conglomerate—is recruiting a Head of Stores (Granite Mines) for its Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) mining and quarry division based in Lagos State. This operational supply chain leadership role manages mining inventory, ensures 100% audit compliance, and leverages SAP to maintain zero stockouts for critical spare parts and daily consumables (diesel, explosives, lubricants). The position supports an 8,000 MT daily quarry production target while maintaining high inventory accuracy.

• Mining Inventory & Supply Assurance: Maintain a strict 30-day safety stock buffer of critical consumables and spares to safeguard the quarry's daily production output of 8,000 MT; enforce inventory controls to achieve $\ge 98\%$ accuracy across cycle counts.

• SAP Enterprise Management: Oversee 24-hour SAP postings for Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), daily production figures, and spare part issuances; ensure data integration across procurement, audit, and finance workflows.

• Audit & Fuel Control: Maintain 100% compliance with internal and external audit requirements; manage daily diesel, explosive, and lubricant tracking; ensure zero overdue calibrations on flow meters and weighbridges.

• Cost Optimization & Process Improvement: Analyze inventory cost drivers quarterly to implement operational cost reductions of at least 5% year-over-year.

• Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience Baseline: 5+ years of hands-on store management experience within heavy industry, mining, or large-scale manufacturing facilities.

• Core Competencies: SAP ERP inventory modules, spare parts management, diesel/lubricant auditing, weighbridge calibration oversight, and cross-functional supply chain logistics.
