About this role
LinkOrgNet—a satellite communications, VSAT, high-speed fiber, and IT solutions provider—is recruiting an Accountant for its financial operations based in Victoria Island, Lagos State. Reporting within the finance department, this role manages general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and infrastructure cost accounting to support profitability across telecommunications and ISP service lines.
Key Responsibilities-
Financial Reporting & Ledger Control: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; maintain general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

Cost Accounting & Infrastructure Analysis: Analyze operational and network infrastructure costs, monitor budget variances, and provide cost-control insights to optimize profitability.

Payables, Receivables & Payroll: Oversee accounts payable, client invoicing, subscription revenue recognition, receivables collection, and monthly payroll processing.

Taxation & Audit Governance: Ensure strict adherence to Nigerian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, CIT), support statutory audits, and enforce internal financial controls.

Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Professional Certification (Advantage): Active membership or part/full qualification in ACA (ICAN), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.

Experience Baseline: 3–5 years of hands-on corporate accounting experience, with exposure to financial modeling, billing systems, and revenue management.

Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in ERP and accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
