About this role
Pad-Up Creations Limited—a prominent social enterprise and manufacturer of washable, reusable feminine hygiene products—is recruiting an Assistant Manager - Operations for its primary manufacturing and distribution plant in Minna, Niger State. Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, this production leadership role oversees shift scheduling, factory floor supervision, raw material inventory utilization, ERP system logging, and health/safety policy enforcement across manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities-
Shift Scheduling & Factory Floor Leadership: Design daily shift rotas, allocate human resources according to production output targets, monitor line productivity, and manage shift handovers.

Material Management & Waste Reduction: Track raw material usage across manufacturing lines to eliminate waste, monitor Human Resource Utilization (HRU) metrics, and apply lean manufacturing principles.

ERP Data Logging & KPI Reporting: Ensure production logs, inventory movements, and yield data are entered into ERP systems; generate operational performance reports for executive management.

Safety & SOP Enforcement: Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conduct routine facility quality audits, and maintain Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Academic Credentials: B.Sc. in Business, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.

Software Toolstack: Practical experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, shift scheduling platforms, and MS Excel data analytics tools.

Core Competencies: Production floor supervision, lean manufacturing, conflict resolution, shift planning, and willingness to relocate to Niger State.
