About this role
DynamicPlus Advisory—a strategic human resources and business management consultancy—is recruiting an Accountant (Manufacturing Company) on behalf of an industrial production client located in Ajao Estate, Lagos State. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this operational accounting role manages factory cost accounting, raw material valuation, general ledger reconciliations, payroll, statutory tax filings, and internal control audits across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Track production expenses, analyze raw material usage variances, manage bill of materials (BOM) costing, and execute stock valuations.

Financial Reporting & Ledger Reconciliations: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, reconcile general ledgers, oversee bank statements, and manage accounts payable/receivable.

Tax Compliance & Payroll: Prepare monthly payroll, process expense reimbursements, and ensure prompt filing of statutory taxes (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT) with federal and state tax authorities.

Internal Control & External Audit: Maintain internal audit trails, support budgeting and cash flow forecasting, and serve as primary liaison during external audit reviews.

Academic Credentials: B.Sc. / HND in Accounting + ICAN/ACCA qualification (or advanced student status).

Software Toolstack: Mastery of ERP accounting software (SAP, Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel.

Core Competencies: Factory cost accounting, inventory control, tax regulation compliance, variance analysis, and internal auditing.
