About this role
DynamicPlus Advisory—a strategic management and human resources consultancy—is recruiting an Accountant (Manufacturing Company) on behalf of an industrial manufacturing client based in Ajao Estate, Lagos State. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this operational role manages factory cost accounting, inventory stock valuation, general ledger reconciliations, statutory tax compliance, and financial reporting across production operations.
Key Responsibilities

Plant Cost & Inventory Accounting: Monitor production expenses, track raw material utilization variances, manage bill of materials (BOM) cost calculations, and value finished-goods inventory.

Financial Reporting & Ledger Management: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, oversee general ledger entries, perform bank reconciliations, and handle accounts payable/receivable.

Tax Compliance & Payroll: Process monthly staff payroll, manage expense reimbursements, and file statutory taxes (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT) with state and federal tax authorities.

Internal Controls & Audit Readiness: Maintain internal control procedures, assist in cash flow forecasting and budgeting, and serve as primary contact during external audit reviews.

Academic & Professional Prerequisites: B.Sc./HND in Accounting + ICAN/ACCA qualification (or candidate in progress).

Software Suite: Proficiency in enterprise accounting software (SAP, Sage, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel.

Core Competencies: Production cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, Nigerian tax law compliance, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
