Business Development Executive

Ascentech Services Limited—a human resources solutions and talent acquisition consultancy—is recruiting a Business Development Executive – Telecommunications on behalf of a leading telecommunications service provider and Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Abuja (FCT). Reporting to the Head of Commercial Sales, this B2B corporate sales position focuses on enterprise lead generation, C-level executive client acquisition, contract negotiations, and revenue expansion across corporate accounts, government agencies, and commercial enterprises in the Federal Capital Territory.

• Enterprise Solution Sales: Promote and sell enterprise ICT/telecom solutions, including Internet Leased Lines (ILL), Corporate Broadband, FTTH/FTTX fiber infrastructure, VoIP, IoT, and IPTV services to corporate clients.

• C-Suite Relationship Management: Prospect, initiate contact, and present technical sales proposals to C-Level executives, IT directors, and procurement leads.

• Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline, manage lead stages in CRM platforms, negotiate service level agreements (SLAs), close deals, and oversee debt collection/receivables.

• Commercial Reporting & Retention: Track customer satisfaction metrics, manage account retention to prevent churn, conduct competitive market analysis, and present monthly sales performance reports to executive management.

• Mandatory Prerequisites: B.Sc. + NYSC Certificate + 2 to 4 years of verifiable B2B enterprise sales experience within a telecom firm or ISP in Nigeria.

• Technical Product Knowledge: Sound understanding of enterprise internet architectures, fiber technology (FTTH/FTTX), leased lines, VoIP systems, and IoT deployment models.

• Core Competencies: B2B solution pitching, contract negotiation, executive presentation, CRM tools proficiency, pipeline forecasting, and quota achievement.
