About this role
Smart Partners Consulting Limited (SPCL)—a leading indigenous HR and business strategy consulting firm—is recruiting a Project Manager to oversee operational and strategic client projects out of its Lagos corporate office. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Managing Director, this full-time role is responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle delivery, budget tracking, vendor/consultant management, risk mitigation, and executive client reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Lifecycle Delivery: Formulate detailed execution plans, establish milestones, define resource allocations, and monitor end-to-end project completion against client scope.

Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop project cost baselines, track expenditures against approved budgets, manage variances, and ensure cost-effective procurement.

Team, Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Supervise project teams, external contractors, and consulting experts; manage client communications, change requests, and executive status reporting.

Risk & Quality Governance: Maintain project risk registers, execute contingency plans, enforce compliance with quality standards/regulations, and manage post-project handovers/reviews.

Academic Credentials: B.Sc. or HND + 5–7 years of structured project management experience.

Software Toolstack: Hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Asana, Trello, Jira, and MS Office 365 / Google Workspace.

Core Competencies: PMP/Agile execution, project risk assessment, budget control, contract negotiation, change management, and client relationship management.
