Onboarding Specialist
About this role
Stanbic IBTC is hiring an Onboarding Specialist to manage New-To-Bank (NTB) customer onboarding within the first 30 days, ensuring customers are properly activated across digital channels, receive their cards, and have access to the appropriate support services.
Key Responsibilities- Drive digital channel adoption and card activation for new customers
- Provide responsive support for customer queries, issues, and transactional requests
- Manage accounts not mapped to Relationship Managers or affected by RM exits
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Manage customer communication through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including emails and SMS
- Cross-sell banking and financial products to increase customer engagement and share of wallet
- Ensure onboarding activities comply with relevant policies and procedures
- University Degree
- 2-4 years of experience with banking products, compliance procedures, and financial services regulations
- Previous branch banking experience is required
- Good knowledge of consumer banking products and services
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills
- Ability to identify risks, follow procedures, manage tasks, and meet deadlines
- Good telephone handling and active listening skills
