Relationship Manager (Retail)

The Alternative Bank (AltBank), a CBN-licensed non-interest bank, is hiring a Relationship Manager (Retail) to drive branch performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and market prospects within the target market.
• Carry out deposit mobilisation initiatives for Current & Savings Accounts (CASA) and Fixed Deposit accounts.
• Prepare customers' risk asset applications and route data to the approving authority through the appropriate channels.
• Ensure existing investments and liquidations are handled accurately and promptly.
• Render credit/risk asset, deposit liability and LDR status reports to the Business Manager weekly.
• Create quality risk assets and effectively manage the balance sheet in line with targets.
• Monitor customers' account balances consistently to identify opportunities for increasing balances.

Requirements / Competencies:

• Knowledge of Non-Interest Banking (NIB) practices, guidelines and regulations.
• Credit analysis, sales & marketing, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of CBN Prudential Guidelines and banking operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer needs identification and product knowledge.
