Relationship Manager (Commercial Banking)

The Alternative Bank (AltBank), a CBN-licensed non-interest bank, is hiring a Relationship Manager for its Commercial Banking business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking clients, driving deposit mobilisation and quality risk assets.
• Identify customer needs and provide proactive relationship management and product solutions.
• Prepare and process risk asset applications and manage the balance sheet in line with targets.
• Engage stakeholders and maintain strong customer relationships across the commercial segment.

Requirements / Competencies:

• Marketing & sales skills, data collection, financial analysis and credit risk analysis.
• Knowledge of banking operations, market & industry and product knowledge.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement and customer relationship management skills.
• Communication, interpersonal, decision quality & problem-solving, time & self-management skills.
