Sales Manager - Automobile

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager with proven automobile industry experience to lead sales activities, drive revenue growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and expand market share

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market-share objectives
• Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed sales targets
• Build strong relationships with customers, dealers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the automobile market
• Monitor automotive market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences
• Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and agreements with customers and partners
• Drive sales of vehicles, automotive products, parts, and related solutions
• Prepare regular sales reports with insights on performance and growth opportunities
• Represent the company at automotive exhibitions, trade events, and industry engagements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience, with significant automobile industry experience
• Automobile industry experience is compulsory
• Proven track record of managing and achieving sales targets
• Previous experience leading or supervising a sales team
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian automotive market, dealerships, and distributors
• Excellent commercial and business-development acumen
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to analyse sales data and make data-driven decisions
