The Finance Manager will own the finance function end-to-end as a member of the founding team, helping to shape the company's processes, systems, and financial strategy from the ground up. This is a hands-on role that blends day-to-day accounting with strategic financial planning

• Own accounting operations, including reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll administration, ensuring accurate records in the accounting systems
• Manage month-end close and deliver accurate monthly financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to the founders, investors, and board
• Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare rolling 12-month cash flow forecasts
• Provide profitability analyses and investment recommendations to support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and manage relationships with external auditors and bookkeeping partners
• Oversee cash flow management to ensure financial sustainability
• Prepare investor-ready financial statements, valuation models, and due diligence materials to support fundraising efforts

• 4+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally with a mix of startup and audit/accounting firm backgrounds
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Strong understanding of Nigerian tax and regulatory requirements for fintech or real estate companies
