About the Role

MoneyAfrica is hiring a Financial Associate in Lagos (hybrid). This role sits at the intersection of financial research, investment analysis, financial education content, and client engagement. You will take financial information, form a clear point of view, and turn it into something people can understand and act on.

Responsibilities

  • Research companies, markets, investments, and economic developments.
  • Develop investment insights, research notes, and financial analysis.
  • Turn research into financial education content across social media, articles, and video.
  • Break down complex financial topics without losing the substance.
  • Join client conversations and communicate financial insights with confidence.
  • Identify relevant topics and opportunities rather than waiting to be told what to research.
  • Own projects from research to analysis to insight to execution.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years' experience in financial analysis, investment research, equity research, asset management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, valuation, financial modelling, and investment analysis.
  • Understanding of equity markets, fixed income, macroeconomics, and investment products.
  • Ability to analyse earnings, company performance, market data, and financial news and form a clear investment thesis.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial analysis clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • CFA, ICAN/ACA, ACCA, or similar qualification is an advantage.

Compensation

NGN 400,000 net monthly.

Location

Lagos, Nigeria (hybrid).
