Switch Applications & Operations Engineer
About this role
eTranzact, a leading payments technology and switching company, is hiring a Switch Applications and Operations Engineer to manage and optimise its Core Switch and payment services
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise the Core Switch and its interfaces, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and seamless transaction processing across HQ and DR environments
- Implement and support switching services including account-to-account transfers, card issuing, card acquiring, and other payment solutions across partner banks and merchants
- Drive upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations across switch infrastructure, applications, architectures, and related services
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and incident management, troubleshooting complex issues and serving as an escalation point for critical switching incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in switch operations, payment technology, application support, or a similar environment
- Experience providing L2/L3 application or technical support is preferred
