Ikevora is recruiting a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier to handle customer payments, maintain accurate sales records and support front-of-house operations at a restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja
Job Details
- Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation: NGN 85,000 monthly
- Work Schedule: One day on, one day off (approximately 15 working days per month)
- Qualification: HND/BSc
- Job Field: Accounting / Finance / Hospitality
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash, bank transfers, card and other approved payments
- Verify electronic payment confirmations and issue receipts
- Record sales and maintain accurate payment records
- Balance cash and reconcile daily sales at the end of each shift
- Prepare sales summaries and report discrepancies
- Provide courteous customer service and respond to payment enquiries
- Coordinate with restaurant staff on orders and bills
- Maintain a clean and secure cashier station and protect financial information
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous cashier or payment-handling experience, preferably in hospitality
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and sales reporting
- Familiarity with POS systems and electronic payment methods
- Strong numerical, reconciliation and record-keeping skills
- Honesty, integrity, attention to detail and good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
