CREDIT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

We are looking for a proactive Credit & Business Development Officer to support credit operations, build quality loan portfolios, acquire new customers, and manage client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source and originate qualified loan opportunities from individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.
• Assess customers' creditworthiness and prepare credit appraisal reports.
• Monitor loan performance, repayments, and delinquent accounts.
• Support loan recovery efforts and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Promote loan and investment products through marketing, networking, and client visits.
• Build relationships with clients and referral partners.
• Achieve assigned sales and portfolio growth targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and prepare performance reports.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years' experience in credit, lending, sales, business development, or relationship management.
• Experience in a financial institution, microfinance bank, finance company, or investment firm is preferred.
• Strong credit analysis, sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of lending procedures and financial products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
