Junior Designer

Chowdeck, Africa's fastest-growing on-demand food delivery and logistics platform, is recruiting a Junior Designer. Operating from their main headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos on a hybrid work arrangement, this role sits within the marketing and creative brand team to help shape the visual identity of a rapidly scaling consumer tech product.

The Junior Designer will create engaging social media layouts, marketing collateral, and platform-specific assets. • Visual Asset Creation: Design compelling and creative graphics for multiple social media channels, promotional initiatives, and marketing campaigns.

• Format Adaptation: Adapt, resize, and optimize master creative templates into various aspect ratios and digital formats without losing visual intent.

• Creative Brief Execution: Read and accurately interpret creative briefs, translate text prompts into structured layouts, and ask clarifying questions early.

• Collaborative Iteration: Receive constructive feedback openly from senior creatives and product managers, turning critique into fast design revisions.

• Brand Maintenance: Uphold brand guidelines across all customer touchpoints, ensuring consistent use of typography, spacing, and color palettes.

• Software Tools: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator) and Figma.

• Design Fundamentals: Solid grounding in essential design principles, including typographic hierarchy, color theory, grid systems, and layout composition.
