DriveCare Logistics and Services Limited (DCLS)—Nigeria's leading logistics-tech platform specializing in vehicle licensing and executive fleet chartering—is recruiting a Human Resources and Compliance Manager in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR & Workforce Deployment: Manage end-to-end recruitment for internal staff and outsourced professional drivers; oversee driver deployment workflows based on client specifications, skills, and proximity.

Regulatory Compliance & Verification: Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian labor laws and state transport regulations (LASDRI, LASRRA, etc.); manage driver verification frameworks including background, double-guarantor, residential, and psychometric checks.

Employee Relations & Performance: Implement disciplinary frameworks, code of conduct guidelines, and KPIs; manage grievance escalations, driver performance, punctuality, and client satisfaction metrics.

Training & Onboarding: Design and facilitate structured onboarding covering defensive driving, executive etiquette, and customer service; coordinate safety workshops and compliance renewals.

HR Operations & Payroll Support: Maintain digital HR databases, verify deployment/attendance logs for accurate payroll processing, and partner with logistics teams on incident response protocols.

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Professional Certification: Affiliation or certification with CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is a strong advantage.

Experience: 3 to 6 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Industry Experience: Hands-on experience managing a blue-collar workforce, driver fleets, or outsourced labor within transportation, logistics, or supply chain sectors in Lagos.

In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, verification standards, and state transport regulations (LASDRI, LASRRA, driver licensing).

Exceptional emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and people management skills across both corporate client and blue-collar staff levels.

Strong familiarity with Lagos road networks and driver market dynamics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HR software, and ATS platforms.
