About this role
MAX (Max Drive)—a mobility technology company delivering tech-enabled transportation, vehicle financing, and electric/clean mobility solutions across Africa—is recruiting a Fleet Officer at its facility in Sango, Ogun State. This full-time role focuses on managing vehicle maintenance, quality assurance inspections, technical refurbishments, inventory supervision, and partner workshop compliance to ensure fleet availability and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-repair diagnostic test drives and post-maintenance quality checks on all fleet vehicles; verify that allocated spare parts are properly utilized by technicians.

Vehicle Refurbishment: Perform pre-assessment damage checks before refurbishment, verify incoming spare parts quality, guide technicians on repairs, and conduct post-refurbishment testing.

Partner Workshop Audits: Regularly inspect Authorized Service Workshops to confirm maintenance schedules and repair work adhere strictly to MAX technical standards.

Administrative & Fleet Controls: Enforce job card documentation for every vehicle entering the workshop, maintain inventory tracking logs, and deliver technical training to mechanics.

Education: Minimum of an OND in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician or 2 years in fleet management operations.

Core Skills & Competencies:

Solid understanding of vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repair, and fleet management practices.

Knowledge of inventory control principles and spare parts verification.

Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace for reporting.
