Enterprise Growth and Developer

Alfred & Victoria Associates (AVA) is recruiting an Enterprise Growth and Developer on behalf of a public sector or ministry-affiliated enterprise development body. Based in Berger / Asese, Ogun State, this role focuses on driving commercial growth, funding access, flagship program execution, and advisory support for Strategic Business Organizations (SBOs).

• SBO Growth & Program Leadership: Lead the development and execution of bespoke growth plans for Strategic Business Organizations (SBOs); direct flagship programs such as the School of Commerce and Tech Startup Growth Initiative.

• Funding & Investment Access: Structure mechanisms for SBOs to access venture capital, development grants, and government loans; conduct investment readiness training to prepare businesses for investors.

• Business Advisory & Capacity Building: Deliver business clinics, masterclasses, and one-on-one consulting covering business strategy, financial management, marketing, operational scaling, and export readiness.

• Trade Zone & Agency Management: Oversee the designated Trade Zone to attract investment and support duty-efficient commerce; assist SBOs with formalization, registration, and institutional setup through the Enterprise Development Agency.

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with Economic Research, Investments & Partnerships, Digital Infrastructure, and Export Development units to deliver integrated support to SBOs.

• Education & Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, enterprise support, venture building, program management, or corporate advisory.

• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of enterprise growth planning, investment readiness, incubator/accelerator program execution, and trade/export frameworks.

• Core Skills: Strong capability in program delivery, stakeholder engagement, financial/growth planning, report drafting, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E).
