Business Strategy Executive

Blue Steel Solutions is recruiting a Business Strategy Executive on behalf of a logistics enterprise. Located in Ikeja, Lagos, this role focuses on long-term corporate growth roadmaps, supply chain data analytics, cost/delivery optimization, AI logistics software implementation, and commercial partnership development.

• Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Lead corporate planning cycles, define long-term business expansion roadmaps, and align corporate objectives across business units.

• Market Intelligence & Revenue Expansion: Conduct market research, evaluate competitor strategies, and identify new commercial opportunities in the Nigerian logistics space.

• Operational Optimization: Collaborate with logistics, fleet management, and warehousing teams to optimize supply chain flows, reduce transport overheads, and improve transit delivery speeds.

• Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish high-value commercial partnerships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, corporate clients, and technology vendors.

• AI & Tech Innovation: Evaluate and drive the implementation of AI-driven logistics software and automated tracking tools to enhance operational transformation.

• Performance Tracking: Establish, track, and enforce key performance indicators (KPIs) across operational departments.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, business planning, supply chain strategy, or management consulting.

• Core Competencies: Advanced data analytics, project management frameworks, executive presentation skills, and commercial negotiation.

• Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience within the logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain sector is a major advantage.
