Sonographer

Equity Specialist Hospital, a modern medical facility backed by Equity Health Group that is dedicated to delivering world-class, patient-centered healthcare using cutting-edge medical technology, is recruiting a Sonographer to join its clinical team in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The Sonographer will operate advanced ultrasound equipment to conduct comprehensive diagnostic imaging, compile detailed clinical documentation, and support excellent patient-care outcomes.

• Diagnostic Imaging Execution: Perform a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small-parts imaging according to hospital clinical protocols.

• Specialized Testing: Administer Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Echocardiogram (Echo) examinations proficiently to aid targeted patient assessments.

• Clinical Documentation: Document raw examination findings accurately, capture high-quality images, and maintain strict, confidential electronic patient health records.

• Equipment Maintenance: Technical oversight, routine calibration checks, and fault reporting for sensitive ultrasound machinery to maintain active uptime.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, or a related healthcare discipline from a recognized training institution.

• Experience: 3–5 years of working experience as a clinical sonographer or medical imaging specialist.

• Technical Mastery: High proficiency across standard ultrasound, ECG, and Echocardiography procedures.

• Core Competencies: Strong empathetic patient-care skills, precise clinical recording capabilities, and excellent verbal communication within a fast-paced medical facility.
