Account Officer

Clinix Healthcare, a world-class medical and diagnostic brand with 40 years of qualitative experience and over 120 centers across Africa, is recruiting an Account Officer to join its facility in Ilupeju, Lagos. Backed by key principal investors Greenlife Pharmaceuticals and Bliss GVS Pharmaceuticals, Clinix Healthcare operates as a state-of-the-art diagnostic destination in West Africa. The successful candidate will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the overall financial compliance of the Lagos facility.

• Financial Posting & Reconciliation: Handle daily bookkeeping, ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting for the diagnostic facility.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, verify vendor payments, monitor accounts payable, and systematically follow up on outstanding patient or corporate bills.

• Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, statutory filings (VAT, WHT, PAYE), and internal financial control policies.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and supporting spreadsheets.

• Administrative & Payroll Support: Support payroll processing, manage petty cash allocations, and liaise with internal management and external auditors during reviews.

• Education: B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Professional License: Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or currently in progress) is considered a distinct advantage.

• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant corporate accounting experience. Prior experience working within a hospital, diagnostic laboratory, or healthcare setting is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERPs) and advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.

• Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial laws, excellent attention to detail, high ethical integrity, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
